The husky can make a great family pet when properly trained and given adequate exercise and activity. They love to run and play, so daily walks are a minimum requirement. They need weekly grooming to keep their coat nice as well. They are a shedding dog and not recommended for allergy sufferers. They are a highly intelligent breed and will need lots of stimulation to keep them happy.
